The current desktop release is unsigned. This page shows exactly what that means, what your computer may display, and what Addiem can—and cannot—prove about the files. No application file is available here; delivery happens only after payment.
Version 1.1.0 distribution status
The macOS app has no Apple Developer ID signature and has not been notarized. The Windows files have no Authenticode publisher signature. macOS will block the first launch; Windows may show an unrecognized-app warning or may block the app under stricter policy.
You will never be asked to disable Gatekeeper, SmartScreen, antivirus protection, or any system-wide security setting. If an app-specific approval is not acceptable on your machine, do not weaken its security: use the included browser-file version after purchase or request the 14-day refund.
These steps apply only to the unidentified-developer or “Apple cannot check it” notice.
Apple makes this app-specific option available for about an hour after the blocked launch. See Apple's own instructions.
Stop if macOS says the app will damage your computer, reports malware, says the file is damaged, or your copy did not come from the official Addiem delivery.
SmartScreen considers both publisher and file reputation. On a company-managed computer—or when Smart App Control enforces a stricter policy—Run anyway may not be available. Do not bypass that policy. See Microsoft's explanation.
Stop if Microsoft Defender reports an actual threat or malware detection, or your copy came from anywhere other than the official Addiem delivery.
SHA-256 lets you compare a downloaded file with this public release record. A match means the bytes match the file published for version 1.1.0; it does not prove that software is harmless and it does not replace platform code signing.

If you are comfortable with one app-specific approval and the public fingerprint matches, the product is ready to use offline. If you need Apple/Microsoft publisher verification or your organisation forbids unsigned software, Addiem is not the right purchase for that machine yet. You can also use the complete local HTML version without an application-signing prompt.
